Blue Zines Workshop : Monday 20 January, 6-8pm
Join Cut Out Club for a creative workshop that turns the gloomiest day of the year into something vibrant and inspiring.
Known as "Blue Monday", this day has a reputation for being the most depressing of the year, marked by post-holiday blues, cold weather, and those New Year’s resolutions starting to fade ...but instead of letting the blues win, we’re flipping the script with a hands-on zine-making session where you can connect with others in the community while getting crafty in our cosy space! 💙
Open to all experience levels, and all materials are provided. Workshop is free to attend, but booking is required (using the link below) as spaces are limited to 18 people. Any donations are gratefully received and will go towards maintaining the Highland Zine Bothy.
Generously supported by Scotmid Community Grant.

Zines in Rural Communities : Thursday 17 October, 12-1pm
There is plenty of evidence that zines have a rich history as a medium for alternative voices, niche interests, and grassroots activism within populated cities. But what purpose do zines serve in remote areas?
Join the conversation online with Iona (from DeZiners) and 64 Million Artists, all about how zines can have a transformative impact on rural communities by fostering creativity, preserving local culture, and promoting social engagement – and how you can start your own community zine projects, too!
This webinar is happening as part of the #Zinetober takeover by Cut Out Club. Follow this link to watch the full recording of the conversation.
